Educational Objectives of the Mechanical Engineering Program

Our educational objectives reflect the long-term goals of our program and include the career goals and professional expectations that our graduates are expected to achieve in the near future.

Educational objectives were first determined in line with the general objectives determined in the meetings held with our internal and external stakeholders during the European Quality Award studies in our Faculty between 1998-2000, and during the meetings we held with all our faculty members during our MÜDEK application preparations.

These objectives were later renewed by considering the evaluations made to our department's MÜDEK application and the careers our graduates achieved within three to five years. Accordingly, the educational objectives of our department are as follows:

Marmara University Mechanical Engineering Department Graduates;

a. They can complete their master's and/or doctorate education in mechanical engineering or related departments of universities in Turkey and abroad.

b. They can work in R&D, P&D and other fields related to mechanical engineering by using their professional competencies in companies operating in various sectors or public institutions at national and international levels.
