Marmara University Mechanical Engineering Club has started operating in spring semester of 2000-2001 educational year after the reconstruction of student clubs system.

After the bright history of the Engineering Club which was dismissed following the new system, Mechanical Engineering Club has been founded.The club is also acting as the Marmara University Student Section of ASME since then.The 7th management board of the club has started to work after the board elections performed on 11.11.2006

The purpose of our club is supporting the students with technical and academical organizations in needed areas and helping them to become more social. Cooperation and serving to all engineering students are the main principles of our club.
